Have you seen the Cyclone girls?
On the floor they tumble and dance
They can make "Straddle Jump" so high
You would think they live in the sky.

When its time for the balance beam
They all cheer for their own team
Round off and get on the beam
Doing passes they learned from their gym.

Hopping toward the uneven bars
They can swing near and far
"Straddle Back" and "Cast Handstand"
"Tap Swing" "Geinger" and "Jaeger"

On the vault the Cyclones know
In split of a second that counts
They learned and they know how
To do the "Yurchenko" round.

If you haven't seen the Cyclone girls
You should join their fans next time
Bring along red and gold attire
Together we will have good time.

We will cheer, we let them hear
We are close, and we are near
Other team knows we have no fear
For Cyclones, our girls we cheer.

Other team knows we have no fear
Iowa State's Cyclone girls we cheer.

Spectators / Observers:

She turns, she twists, she dances, she jumps

Her smiling face shows her passion

Listening carefully - she wants to know when

The music begins on the floor - she dances

On the balance beam she prays for their team

Not falling off from that narrow beam

Four inches wide, they all jump so high

Don’t want to miss it so they really try.

On the uneven bars she’s anxious to start

But careful enough, not swing too far

Her mind focuses on those two bars

‘Till both of her feet have landed on the floor.

The vault was adjusted not too high, too low

Gauging a distance how far she must go

Jump on the spring board, then to the vault

Flip in the air then she twist to the floor.

Gymnasts:

We’re disciplined, we love our passion

We sacrifice, we manage our time

Looking at us people ask why

Work out, work out, work out day and night.

So we invite for them to try

Doesn’t take much before they know why

Gymnastics time a passion of our life

Gymnastics time’s our love, our life.

We work all year till our season’s here

Pick up our gear, go to competition

Share lots of fun with our team, our friends

Traveling on planes good times never end.

Now we invite you give it a try
